Our Kindergarten students are learning the letter 

Bb

Students work on a variety of "tub" activities to practice making the letter Bb.

These tub activities also promote fine motor skills, problem solving skills, social skills and creativity.

Firefighter Todd visits our kindergarten classes...

Today, Firefighter Todd visited our classes today. 
He taught the students about fire safety and he answered students' questions. 
The students also learned about what a firefighter wears to keep safe when s/he is fighting fires!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Our kindergarten students have been learning the ABAB pattern. They showed how well they understand the ABAB pattern by giving their Thanksgiving turkeys ABAB pattern feathers.

Our Lady of the Rosary Feast Day

The Kindergarten Students learned that Our Lady of the Rosary is Jesus' Mother: Mary!

The students learned that when we pray the Rosary, we are asking Jesus' Mother to pray for us and bring our prayers to her son, Jesus.

We also learned that when we pray the Rosary, we put a crown of roses on Mary!!

Check out our beautiful art work. We used our "#1 colouring skills" to colour a picture of Mary and we used our pincher fingers to make the crown of roses.
